Imaginative play can engage many different development skills in girls and boys, including social and emotional development, as well as language skills and creative thinking. To extend your childs play, accessories and pretend sets can be used to make their play feel more authentic. Whether its pretend food for a kitchen play set, or camping toys for a pretend-voyage out in the wilderness, pretend play is so vital for children that extending their experience with these kinds of accessories will allow them to learn as they play!
